Louis P. Foos
Louis P. Foos, 87, of Fremont died Saturday afternoon at The Rutherford House. He was born February 1, 1922 ,in Golva, ND, the son of Anthony and Sophia (Harth) Foos. He was a graduate of St. Joseph High School. On September 2, 1957 he married Kathleen Lucille Setzler at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Louis worked for Howard Zink Corporation and Eckrich. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where he sang in the choir for 70 years, a former member of St. Joseph’s Church and choir, the Holy Name Society, a Red Cross Volunteer, a Food Pantry Volunteer and enjoyed fishing and gardening.
Surviving is his wife Kathleen Foos of Fremont, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Margaret Weber, Beatrice Whitely, Dolores Foos, Cecelia Goodsite, Mary Foos , Lucille Nieset, and brother, Edward Foos.
Visiation: will take place Tuesday from 2 -4 and 6-8P.M. at Keller-Ochs-Koch-Mason Funeral & Cremation Service, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, Ohio. Mass of Resurrection will take place Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. from Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fremont, with Fr. Ken Lill officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Keller-Ochs-Koch-Mason Funeral & Cremation Service was entrusted with the privilege of serving Louis’s family.
