Dolores Evonelle (Haaser) Richter
January 30, 1915- January 22, 2010
Dolores E. Haaser Richter, 94, of Fremont, passed away Friday morning at The Rutherford House. She was born in Petrolia, IL, to Urban A. and Eva (Wyatt) Haaser. She married Ralph Luman on October 24, 1936, he preceded her in death. She married John A. Richter on August 12, 1954 in Fostoria, OH, he preceded her in death on June 14, 2007. Dolores was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fremont. She enjoyed dancing, spending time on Lake Erie and was a creative sewer and homemaker.
She is survived by her children: Ronald Luman of Marblehead, OH; Dennis (Judy) Richter of Loveland, OH; Connie (Bill) Frishette, of The Villages, FL; Julie (Bob) Eaton, of Tiffin, OH; Gary (Debbi) Luman of Oak Harbor, OH;and son-in-law Grant (Fran) Leeper of Marblehead, OH; sisters Eleta Strausbaugh, Bowling Green, OH; Marcella Wells, Perrysburg, OH; Ethel Morrison, CA; Betty Kelbley, Fostoria, OH; Phyllis Stearns, CA; 17 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Ralph Luman & John Richter; daughter, Virginia Leeper, and other brothers and sisters.
Visitation will take place Wednesday, January 27, 2010, from 2-4 and 6-8P.M. at Keller-Ochs-Koch-Mason Funeral & Cremation Service, 416 S. Arch Street, Fremont, Ohio. A Mass of Resurrection will take place Thursday at 11:00 A.M. from Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fremont with Fr. Ken Lill officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society or Heartland Hospice.
