Cletus J. NiesetDecember 16, 1915 - January 15, 2010BiographyCletus J. “Pete” Nieset, 94, of Fremont died Friday at Bethesda Care Center. Cletus was born December 16, 1915 in Millerville, OH the son of John and Anna (Hensgen) Nieset. He married Rita (Snyder) Nieset October 21, 1939 in Fremont, Ohio. He was a stationary engineer with the Fremont School System for many years. He was a farmer and member of the National Rifle Association and was outdoorsman. He loved nature, hunting, fishing, and birds. “Pete” also was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his children, Marie (Robert) Arend of New Riegel, Gene Nieset of Fremont, Janet (Jim) Havens of Harbor Springs, MI, and Barb (Tom) Kowaleski of Sandusky; sister-in-law, Elizabeth (Ralph) Lehman; grandchildren, Angie, John, Laura, Jason, Tony, Elizabeth, Adam, Aaron, Elyse; and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; siblings, Bernard, William, Fr. Carl, Sr. Margaret, Rita Dolweck, Walter, Clara, Art, Norbert, and John Jr..
